A dedicated educator who has shaped clarinetists across studio, conservatory, and outreach settings, Mr. Giacobbe has experience mentoring students of all backgrounds. He helped create the course “The Modern Clarinetist” as a requisite for Juilliard clarinetists during his role as a teaching assistant to prof. Jon Manasse and emphasizes healthy performance habits, drawing from personal experience with injury and rehabilitation.

Daniel is an orchestral clarinetist and chamber musician whose performances span major venues and collaborations with top orchestras. From Carnegie Hall to world-renowned chamber orchestras to intimate ensembles, his artistry brings expressive range, clarity, and depth to both contemporary and traditional repertoire.

Mr. Giacobbe is also a prolific author of audition strategies and educational materials, having developed dozens of orchestral excerpt productions and practice systems. His work helps students approach auditions with clarity, consistency, and musical conviction.
